How to avoid a Phising scam or Identity theft

To avoid a phising scam or identity theft is not that hard enough. All you need to do is only follow some simple safety online habits.

1.Be a little bit manual-to avoid phising scam

The concept is to type the web address manually , no automatic click or redirecting.

Think about it ,when you got an email saying that your bank account has suspicious activity, and there is a link to click to go to your bank webpage.

The thing you must do is to never click on any link.Just close the email, type the web address in the address bar and go to your bank or other website.

Even you should avoid bookmarks and automatic system in browsers.

Why to be manual

A link can be manipulated with javascript to redirect you to different website or it may install malicious software to your system.
Always avoid any link in email address whether it is sent by your friend or unknown.

you may think that ,you are cautious enough or know much -but think about it ,bad people are always upgrading their trap and they are all time genius, then you should not give them any scope.

2.A ridiculous but effective way-to avoid phising scam

Say in a case when you have to use username and password but you are not sure whether this website is real or fake, will you take the chance?

If yes,you may follow a simple trick-
Willingly make mistake. That is make mistake is user name and password.

Why

Think about it,the fake website does not have the database of user nam and password to match with what you have submitted .Whatever you submit,it will take it.

Caution

But do not subimt wrong password or user name for many times. In some cases after three attempt, the account may be blocked for any access for a while-an extra security measure.
