Apple still is the king in smartphone apps market

According to the recent research of isuppli Apple still dominating the billion dollar apps market. Though its position is already threatened by the giant and aggressive competitor Google's android.

In 3.8 billion dollars apps market apple still holding 76% of apps market.According to critics ,it will hold 60% of apps market through year 2014.

The successful innovation of apple in apps market is due to its new two devices.One is iPhone 4 and another iPad.Both two were released in year 2010.But iPad2 were not successful which were released in year 2011


On the other hand Android is growing fast in apps market and it has a great advantage against Apple.Apple is relying on a few handful Apple device and only two carriers but Android platform had spread out with a multitude of device and several carriers.

The trailing competitor of apps market is RIM ,Nokia.As of now RIM is in second position in apps market but android is very fast growing to take ver the second place within the end of year 2011.
